Adding a Course to the Course Map

Adding a course to the Course Map is a straightforward process. The Course Map allows students, parents, etc. to track academic progress and plan out their academic careers. Here are the steps to add a course to the Course Map:

  1. Navigate to the Course Map page: You can access the Course Map page by clicking on the Course Map option in the menu.

  2. Ensure the Add Course toggle is turned on: On the left-hand side of the screen, you will find a toggle named Add Course. Make sure it is turned on.

  3. Click the green plus icon on a course card to add a new course: On the Course Map page, you will see a list of courses. Each course will have a green plus icon. Clicking on the plus icon will open a panel to add the course to the Course Map.

Note

If you have not added any courses to the Course Map, clicking the green plus icon will prompt you to add a discipline first.

  1. A panel will appear, and here you can select the desired course to add it to the Course Map: The panel will show you a list of courses in the discipline. Select the desired course from the list and click Add Course.

  2. If you want to add more courses, repeat the previous steps.

  3. When you are done, click the Save Changes button found on the left-hand side of the screen.
