Public site and views

Elevate has public (unauthenticated) pages for your school and a separate dashboard (after login) for faculty and staff.

Public home (alignment)

The root URL of your school's app shows the public course alignment view. It is read-only and suitable for students and families. It reflects published curriculum and does not show in-progress drafts.

Public course map

The /course-map path shows the public curriculum map with interactive course cards. Clicking a course opens a panel with the same tabs you configure under School settings, such as description, outcomes, resources, and units of focus, depending on your labels and published content.

"Public View" in the dashboard

When you are signed in, the sidebar includes Public View. Use it to open the public experience the same way a parent or student would while keeping your session active. This is helpful for checking branding and verifying that published content looks correct.

What stays in the dashboard

Courses, Submissions, Users, Tags, Disciplines, Divisions, Stats, Alignment (the signed-in alignment view), Course Map (the admin map editor), and Settings are only available after login and are limited by role.
