Adding a course
Courses are added from the Course Map admin panel, not from the Courses list. You must be an admin to create new courses.

Navigate to Course Map in the sidebar.

Open the course panel by clicking the Open Course Panel button on the right-hand side of the screen. A slide-in panel appears showing your existing courses organized by discipline.

Click Add New Course at the top of the panel.

Fill in the course details in the dialog that appears:
- Course name (required)
- Discipline is the subject area that owns this course
- Division is the school level (e.g. Upper, Lower)
- Grade is the grade level text label
- Is AP marks this as an Advanced Placement course

Click Save to create the course. It will appear in the panel list and can then be added to the map.
Newly created courses are not automatically placed on the Course Map. After saving, use Add Course mode to add it to the map. Courses are also visible in the Courses list immediately after creation.
